Accessibility Statement
Last updated:
Olena Kalus and [Brokerage name] want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to search for homes and contact us easily on HomeFinder.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more usable for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have mobility, cognitive, or other disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to review and improve the site.
What we have done
Measures we have taken include:
- The site can be used with a keyboard alone, and focused elements are visibly highlighted.
- Images include text alternatives where we are able to provide them.
- Text and controls are designed with sufficient color contrast, and text can be enlarged with your browser's zoom.
- Buttons, form fields, and other controls have labels for screen readers, and form errors are shown as text.
- A language switcher lets you view the site in English, Russian, or Spanish, and the page language is identified for assistive technology.
- Search results are available in a list as well as on the map.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not be fully accessible:
- Interactive map. The map relies on visual display and pointer gestures, which can be hard to use with a screen reader or keyboard. The list view shows the same listings with the same filters and does not require using the map.
- Listing photos and descriptions. Photos, descriptions, and other listing details come from the MLS and listing brokers. We cannot always provide detailed descriptions of photos or ensure that this third-party content meets accessibility standards.
- Other third-party content. Map tiles and other content supplied by outside services are not under our control.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of major web browsers and with assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers. Older browsers may not display every feature correctly.
Need help or found a barrier?

We will respond promptly and work with you to provide the information you need in an alternative format or by another method, such as email, phone, or in person.
Ongoing improvement
We review the site for accessibility from time to time and fix issues as we find them. Your feedback helps us improve.
